Most people in this room know the acronyms, the frameworks, and the threat feeds. Fewer know that just down the hall, so to speak, is a public-private partnership built for exactly the moments those frameworks can't cover alone: when a threat crosses from "IT problem" into "critical infrastructure problem," and the FBI needs trusted eyes and ears already inside the private sector. That partnership is InfraGard.
This month, ISACA San Diego welcomes leadership from InfraGard San Diego for an introduction to the organization, its mission, and what it offers as a local resource for security professionals across our community. Brian Kramer, President of InfraGard San Diego, and Matt Stamper, Sector Chief, will walk through what InfraGard is, why it exists, and how membership connects practitioners to a broader information-sharing network with the FBI and fellow critical infrastructure defenders.
The conversation will also look ahead to InfraGard San Diego's Cyber Futures Symposium, a full-day event on September 22 at Qualcomm's San Diego campus featuring national thought leaders on AI, the evolving threat landscape, and the future of cyber strategy. Brian and Matt will share what attendees can expect and why it's worth a spot on the calendar.
