In collaboration with SecurityStudio, ISACA San Diego is excited to announce a special webinar series, focused on providing cybersecurity professionals with leadership insights, experience, and perspectives.
Every organization — whether a nonprofit, small business, or global enterprise — faces risks that can disrupt operations, erode trust, and drain resources. Risk assessments are not a compliance checkbox; they are a proven tool to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize limited resources, and build resilience. For nonprofits, they strengthen donor confidence and board oversight. For small and midsize businesses, they align IT investments with business continuity. For enterprises, they enable data-driven decisions to safeguard complex operations and shareholder value.
In this session, Walter Anderson will highlight why risk assessments matter at every scale, explore common challenges across sectors, and show how a structured yet adaptable process — qualitative for nonprofits, quantitative for enterprises — empowers leaders to protect what matters most while sustaining growth and trust. He’ll also touch on how SecurityStudio’s Complimentary Risk Assessments provide organizations with actionable insights, practical cost savings, and a roadmap for resilience.
Attendees will learn:
Why risk assessments are a strategic investment, not just a compliance task
Common pitfalls and blind spots organizations of all sizes face
How to link risk assessments to business continuity, donor trust, and shareholder value
Practical takeaways from SecurityStudio’s Complimentary Risk Assessments program
This presentation is open to the public, available at no cost, and designed for curious minds of all ages and level(s) of technological experience. Participants will receive 1 CPE for attending/participating in the presentation.
